Miller Appointed as Chair of House Finance Subcommittee on Public Safety

State Rep. Kevin Miller (R-Newark) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) as Chair of the House Finance Subcommittee on Public Safety for the 135th General Assembly.

“Thank you to Speaker Stephens for this appointment. I’m looking forward to help lead our state on financing public safety for the folks here in Licking, Perry and Fairfield Counties and across Ohio,” said Miller.

Miller has been with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for over twenty years. Throughout his law enforcement career, he has served as a state trooper, labor relations management advocate, and post commander.

“I believe Representative Miller’s law enforcement experience will bring a great perspective in his role as Chair of the Finance Subcommittee on Public Safety in order to deliver for the people of Ohio,” said Speaker Stephens.
