Rep. Brownlee Votes 'Yes' on Hemp Regulation in Ohio

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Twp) today voted ‘yes’ on Senate Bill (SB) 56, which creates regulation around intoxicating hemp products. 

“Our children’s health and safety must be prioritized, and this bill will keep intoxicating hemp out of the hands of kids while also allowing for responsible adult use,” said Rep. Brownlee. “The Ohio legislature must continue to honor the will of the voters on recreational cannabis use while protecting public safety.”

SB 56 now heads back to the Senate for a concurrence vote.
