Rep. Brownlee Announces Job Creation Tax Credit Recipient in the City of Sharonville

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Twp) today announced that Flavor Producers, LLC, in Sharonville has been awarded a Job Creation Tax Credit by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA). They are expected to create 44 full-time equivalent positions and more than $3.5M in new annual payroll.
“State investment into our businesses is incredibly important to the growth and health of our suburban communities,” said Rep. Brownlee. “The collaboration between residents, businesses, and local and state government shows the power we have when we work together.”
During their monthly meeting, the Ohio TCA reviewed economic development proposals throughout the state, approving and awarding tax credits to 12 projects in October including Flavor Producers, LLC.
As industry leaders, Flavor Producers, LLC utilize natural, organic, and plant-based flavors and extracts to develop ingredients utilized by other food and beverage manufacturers. The proposed project involves investment in an innovative spray-drying process that would increase capacity at the Sharonville facility and grow the natural flavoring business.
