COLUMBUS – State Rep. Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Twp) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $264K in capital funds for the purpose of replacing a chiller at the Cincinnati State Workforce Development Center (WDC) located at the Evendale Campus.
“Cincinnati State is a very strong partner in supporting a healthy workforce in our community,” said Rep. Brownlee. “These state capital funds free up resources so Cincinnati State can focus on what they do best - getting students well-trained and into the workforce - in an uninterrupted manner.”
The project scope includes converting the chilled water system from a constant speed to variable speed system, providing a more energy efficient system and prolonging the life of the new chiller.
