Rep. Brownlee Announces $200K for Loveland-Based AI Start-Up

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Twp) last week announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $200k in capital funds for Qualz.ai, a Loveland-based company, to commercialize their AI voice interview platform for commercial settings.
“State investment into our research sectors is pivotal in ensuring Ohio remains competitive on the national stage,” said Rep. Brownlee. “As healthcare technologies rapidly progress, I am confident these funds will aid advancement in both District 28 and Ohio as a whole.”
The funding is a part of the Department of Development’s Technology Validation Start-Up Fund (TVSF) projects. The TVSF provides grants to transition technology developed by Ohio institutions of higher education and other nonprofit research institutions into the marketplace through Ohio start-up companies.
