Pizzulli Visits Southern Hills Career and Technical Center, Touts Significant Funding for Career Tech in State Budget
COLUMBUS—State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) recently visited Southern Hills Career and Technical Center in Brown County.
Southern Hills Career and Technical Center received almost $5 million under the recently passed state budget. The Center plans on using this funding towards necessary building additions and program expansion.
“Career tech centers are a vital part of our communities as they prepare and equip the workforce of tomorrow,” said Pizzulli. “I was proud to support the state budget bill and invest into these centers as they lift up our students.”
Hundreds of millions of dollars were invested into both joint-vocational school districts and career technical schools to help improve students’ skills in order to prepare them for successful careers.
This significant funding strengthens Ohio’s workforce across various industries and career paths.
