Bill to Designate TSgt. Grover Lee Swearingen Memorial Highway Signed into Law

COLUMBUS –Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today signed House Bill 81 into Ohio law, announced State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County). Incorporated into the bill was House Bill 487, a measure sponsored by Pizzulli that will designate a portion of State Route 41 in Adams County as the TSgt. Grover Lee Swearingen Memorial Highway.
TSgt. Swearingen was a World War II veteran and Purple Heart recipient.
“My hope is that this highway serves a reminder for our community and all who pass through of the sacrifice TSgt. Swearingen made for the sake of our country,” said Pizzulli. “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to honor TSgt. Swearingen’s legacy.”
House Bill 81 will take effect in 90 days.
