State Representative Juanita O. Brent Celebrates Transgender Day of Visibility

COLUMBUS- State Representative Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today recognizes National Transgender Day of Visibility.

“Nearly 20% of transgender and non-binary youth attempted suicide in the past year. LGBTQ+ Ohioans continue to face discrimination within employment, education and housing,” said Rep. Brent. “Something has to change. Anti-transgender bills like HB68 and HB6 only isolate and deprive transgender and non-binary students from expressing who they truly are. All people are created equal and All People deserve to be treated equally.”
