Rep. Juanita O. Brent Calls for Action and Accountability on Earth Day

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today issued a statement celebrating today as Earth Day and emphasizing the urgent need for environmental stewardship.

“Earth Day is a demand for accountability. Protecting our earth is a survival issue not a partisan issue,” said Rep. Brent. “I am calling on my colleagues in the Ohio General Assembly to diversify the energy grid, increase access to renewable energy, and provide aggressive funding specifically in Cleveland to replace lead service lines.  Whether it’s the water coming out of our taps or the air we breathe in our parks, Ohioans deserve a legislature that fights for them.”
