Rep. Brent Receives "Champion of the People Award" from Asian American Coalition

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today announced her recognition as the recipient of the “Champion of the People Award” from the Asian American Coalition of Ohio. This award highlights her ongoing commitment to advocating for justice and equality for all Ohioans.

“I am humbled to receive the ‘Champion of the People Award’,” said Rep. Brent. “The Asian American Coalition of Ohio has been a powerful partner in advancing justice to combat the multiple ani-immigrant legislation at the Ohio Statehouse. This recognition reminds me of our shared responsibility to create a state where every Ohioan—regardless of race, background, or neighborhood—can thrive.”
