Rep. Brent Congratulates Cleveland School of Cannabis, Highlights New Changes Coming to Cannabis Laws in Ohio
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today congratulates the Cleveland School of Cannabis (CSC) for their recent achievement in being the first cannabis school in the nation to receive accreditation.
“I am so proud to live in a state that is laying the foundation of cannabis education for the nation”, said Rep. Brent. “To ensure Ohio benefits from adult-use cannabis access, the Ohio General Assembly must direct tax dollars to what voters asked for, the ‘jobs and equity fund.’”
On March 12, the Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) will be releasing proposed rules regarding adult use cannabis licensing that will be available for public comment. After receiving comments from the public, the DCC will finalize a set of rules that will eventually go in front of the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR), which is expected to occur in May.
