Rep. Brent Commends Injunction Protecting Voters' Rights

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today released a statement on the U.S. District Court injunction against Ohio law to protect the federal Voting Rights Act.

“Elections belong to all voters, regardless of if they are disabled or not,” said Rep. Brent. “This court decision removes roadblocks for people with disabilities to ensure that they have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. Republicans cannot continue to play games on whose voice deserves to be heard.”
