Rep. Brent Celebrates Ohio's 1st Day of Adult-Use Cannabis Sales

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) yesterday announced that adult-use cannabis can be sold in Ohio's dispensaries.

“Ohio is finally open for adult-use cannabis business,” said Rep. Brent. “This is not just Ohio fulfilling what over 2 million Ohio voters asked for. This is one step closer to stop criminalizing a plant and building economic development and justice. Justice for the families and communities destroyed by the War on Drugs. This is only the first step.”

The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control announced 98 dispensaries are approved to begin adult-use cannabis sales on August 6th.
