Rep. Brent Attends Indiana Black Loam Conference: Speaks on Black Leadership, Innovation in Agriculture

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) Monday announced her participation in the Black Loam Conference in Indianapolis, where she joined a panel highlighting Black leadership and innovation in shaping the future of agriculture.

“The legacy of Black leaders in agriculture is not just historical, it’s essential for the figure of our communities and our economy,” said Rep. Brent. “It was inspiring to see such dedication and innovation as we continue the work to overcome challenges in this industry. Together, we can cultivate lasting change and support the next generation of agricultural farmers and producers.”

The Black Loam Conference serves as a vital platform for farmers, agencies, cooperatives, and community organizations to gather, network, and share knowledge.
