Rep. Brent announces local recipients of the BroadbandOhio Connectivity Grant program

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita Brent (D-Cleveland) today announced the local recipients of the BroadbandOhio Connectively Grant program. Awards from the governor’s office were given to the following area schools:

• $70,331 to Bedford City
• $151,466 to Cleveland Municipal
•  $151,466 to Maple Heights City
• $83,330 to Mayfield City
• $8,458 to Orange City
• $53,316 to Warrensville Heights

“It is vital that we understand that within the state of Ohio, providing internet services is as important as providing academic books. I am grateful that every scholar that attends a K-12 public school can benefit from this grant in Ohio House District 12,” said Rep. Brent.
