Rep. Brent Announces Committee Assignments, Will Serve as Ranking Member of House General Government Committee

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today released the following statement today on her Ohio House of Representatives committee assignments for the 136th General Assembly

“I plan to continue my dedication to advancing the welfare of all Ohioans while fostering a robust dialogue while on these committees,” said Rep Brent. “My leadership on the committees: General Government, Commerce, Labor, Agriculture, and Public Safety will be pivotal in shaping policies that are essential to the state’s development and safety.”

Rep. Brent has been assigned to serve the following committees: 

• General Government (ranking member)
• Commerce and Labor 
• Agriculture
• Public Safety 

Committees are open to the public. The public can watch committees live going to www.Ohiohouse.gov or www.Ohiochannel.org.  The schedule for committee meetings can be found at www.Ohiohouse.gov.
