Rep. Brent Announces $447,000 in State Funding to Support East Cleveland Stability and Recovery

State Representative Juanita Brent (D-Cleveland) today announced that the Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) has allocated $447,000 to cover the professional, administrative, and legal fees associated with the ongoing receivership of the City of East Cleveland.

“This $447,000 from OBM is a crucial victory for our community," said Rep. Brent. “By ensuring the state picks up the tab for these receivership administrative fees, we are protecting East Cleveland’s hard-earned tax dollars. Every local dollar must stay right here in the community—filling potholes, supporting our first responders, and making our neighborhoods cleaner, safer, and stronger."
