HB458 a Voter suppression bill has been signed into law by Governor

“HB 458 represents voter suppression to all Ohioans who are eligible to vote. With the possibility of reproductive rights and redistricting guidelines possibly being on the ballot republicans are desperate to make it harder for Ohioans to vote. Now we must organize every part of this state to fight against this law because our life truly depends on it.” said Rep. Brent 

The Bill was signed into Law creating unfair barriers to the ballot box, including implementing stricter photo ID mandate requirements. This Bill permits one secure ballot drop box per county and HB458 also shortens the Ohio voting timelines for absentee ballots and early voting.
