Rep. Miller voices concerns to Director of DAS over PPE contract bidding

COLUMBUS –Yesterday, State Representative Joe Miller (D-Amherst) sent a letter to the Director of the Department of Administrative Services, Matthew Damschroder, voicing his concerns over the bidding process of PPE in the State. 

“We should be investing our hard earned taxpayer dollars in Ohio businesses who employ our neighbors, rather than contracting PPE from a California company who outsourced to China. The decision to contract outside of Ohio when we have companies in Ohio and in Lorain County, is disappointing at best,” wrote Rep. Miller.
