Rep. Miller announces committee assignments for the 134th General Assembly
State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) released the following statement today on his committee assignments for the 134th General Assembly:
“I am honored to again serve the educational interests of my constituents on the Primary & Secondary Education Committee, as well as the Higher Education & Career Readiness Committee. I will continue to fight for our teachers, administrators, parents and students through work on impactful legislation. The 134th General Assembly presents a new opportunity for me to serve on the Agriculture & Conservation Committee and the Infrastructure & Rural Development Committee. Agriculture has always been a cornerstone in Lorain County and deserves our support. Yet, as more rural areas see development, I look forward to thoughtful and deliberate debate on meaningful policy that assists our local leaders in this endeavor,” said Rep. Miller.
Rep. Miller will serve on the following committees:
Primary & Secondary Education
Higher Education & Career Readiness;
Agriculture & Conservation;
Infrastructure & Rural Development.
Committees are open to the public and held any time before or after House floor sessions. The public can watch committees live by going to www.ohiohouse.gov or www.ohiochannel.org.
