Rep. Joe Miller Announces Ranking Member Assignment for House Agriculture Committee, New House Committee Assignments

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) today announced his assignment as ranking member for the House Agriculture Committee for the 136th General Assembly, in addition to being assigned to the following committees:

• House Public Insurance and Pensions Committee
• House Education Committee
• House Workforce and Higher Education Committee

“I am eager to continue my committee work in the 136th General Assembly, particularly in my role as the ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee,” said Rep. Joe Miller. "Agriculture plays a vital role in our national defense strategy by ensuring our ability to feed ourselves. With proper investments and support, we can help eliminate food insecurity for countless Ohioans. Farmers are our small business owners, community anchors, and key supporters of our public schools. I am proud to advocate for and support Ohio's largest economic driver—agriculture."

Rep. Miller has committed to using his committee assignments to continue to ensure all Ohioans have the freedom to be the best versions of themselves, the dignity of a safe community and secure job, and the opportunity to obtain a quality education in Ohio.
