Rep. Joe Miller Announces $500K for Lorain County Health & Dentistry
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) announces $500,000 in Capital Funds for Lorain County Health and Dentistry. Lorain County Health & Dentistry will use these funds for new dental equipment including operatory, radiography and sterilization equipment for a new Community Health Center. The center will have seven exam rooms, six dental operatories, two counseling/behavioral health offices, and additional clinical and administrative space.
“I am proud to support Lorain County Health and Dentistry’s continued efforts to provide high-quality healthcare services for our county,” said Rep. Joe Miller. “This investment works hand in hand with my commitment to making healthcare affordable for all, and I will keep fighting to reduce costs and expand coverage across Lorain County.”
Since 2012, Lorain County Health and Dentistry has been recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Level III Patient Centered Medical Home. Their mission is to serve those most in need who might otherwise face access barriers to healthcare.
