State Representative Jodi Salvo (R-Bolivar) today announced that Ohio’s tourism industry welcomed over 240 million visitors in 2024, supporting thousands of local businesses and attractions across the state, generating over $57 billion in revenue, according to the Ohio Department of Development.

“I’m very proud of the investments we’ve made in Ohio tourism,” said Salvo. “Here in our district, we have amazing opportunities to welcome visitors and share what makes Tuscarawas County special—from our rich history to our wineries, museums, and community events. Tourism not only brings people to our area, but it also supports local jobs and strengthens our economy.”

From national parks and historical monuments to beloved local restaurants, wineries, museums, and more, Ohio offers an incredible variety of destinations for visitors from near and far.

Representative Salvo is proud to highlight district favorites such as the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, Schoenbrunn Village, Fort Laurens, the Warther Museum, Breitenbach Wine Cellars, and Newcomerstown’s historic museums.
