Thomas to Vice-Chair Government Oversight Committee

COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) appointed State Representative Jim Thomas (R-Jackson Twp.) Tuesday as the vice-chair of the House Government Oversight Committee.

“It is a true honor to be named the vice-chair of the Government Oversight Committee,” said Thomas. “I hope to use my experience in local government to help shape policy that will improve the lives of Ohioans.”

Previously, Thomas served the people of Jackson Township as a township trustee. 

“Ohio House members come from all sorts of backgrounds and each present a unique skillset,” said Stephens. “I am confident in Representative Thomas’ ability to use his expertise to produce strong policies for Ohio.”
