New Jobs Coming to West Chester, Ohio - Thanks to Oats Overnight Inc.
State Representative Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester) is proud to announce the latest economic development approval for District 45, as Oats Overnight Inc. expands in West Chester Township and Butler County.
Oats Overnight Inc. expects to create 179 full-time positions, generating more than $7.7 million in new annual payroll, as a result of its new location in West Chester Township. Oats Overnight is a packager and distributor of healthy, protein-rich breakfast meals. It ships direct to consumers via its website along with online retailer Amazon and in-store at Walmart.
Regarding West Chester Township specifically, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) approved a 1.321%, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
“Ohio is open for business. This announcement is yet another example of District 45 being one of the best for job creation and development in the entire state.” Said Gross. “I am proud of Oats Overnight expanding in West Chester. I wish them great success and I am excited to witness their next accomplishment.”
This approval is part of an assistance program recently announced by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted. The program is set to create 663 new jobs and retain 499 jobs statewide. The TCA reviewed other economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. The approved projects are expected to result in more than $35 million in new payroll and spur more than $185 million in investments across Ohio
