COLUMBUS – The House Agriculture Committee began hearings on House Resolution 14, legislation to urge U.S. Congress to investigate the U.S. food supply to ensure all dangerous toxins and chemicals are removed, announced State Rep. Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester). Gross provided sponsor testimony alongside her joint sponsor, State Rep. Nick Santucci (R-Niles).
“Ohioans should have greater insight into how the foods we eat impact our health,” said Gross. “By passing this resolution, Ohio would not only protect its own population but also lead a national effort to ensure a food system that supports health and longevity for future generations.”
House Resolution 14 awaits further consideration from the House Agriculture Committee.
