Callender Supports House Bill 353 with Floor Vote

COLUMBUS – State Representative Jamie Callender (R-Concord) was pleased to cast his vote today in support of House Bill 353. 

This legislation, known as the “Testing Your Faith Act,” will enact a section of the Ohio Revised Code to require each state institution of higher education to adopt a policy providing students with religious accommodations.

“Ohio is a state proud to be home to much religious diversity, no student in our state should have to jeopardize their academics as a result of practicing their faith,” said Callender. 

House Bill 353 will next head to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
