COLUMBUS – After Republican lawmakers ignored the constitutionally-set deadline for proposing congressional district maps, Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) and House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati) sent a letter to Governor Mike DeWine today asking him to reconstitute the Ohio Redistricting Commission within the next 7 days to start the process to fulfill its constitutional obligation to produce a fair, bipartisan congressional map.

House Bill 719, sponsored by Rep. Dorothy Pelanda (R-Marysville), ensures that if an Ohioan suffers such an assault, he or she can utilize online tools to follow their personal examination kit, helping them gain peace of mind and closure during a traumatic time.

Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton). House Bill 451 excludes certain depictions of victims from being released in public records requests, removing the possibility of re-victimization in situations that are often already traumatizing.
