Rep. Hoops Highlights Upcoming Cybersecurity Conference

COLUMBUS—State Representative Jim Hoops (R-Napoleon) recently highlighted an upcoming Cybersecurity Conference hosted by Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose at the University of Toledo.

The conference will take place tomorrow, June 6, 2025, from 8a.m. to 12p.m. in the Thompson Student Union and focus on cybersecurity basics for small businesses. Speakers include Dave Hatter from InTrust IT, Josh Culling from Dezenhall Resources, Matt Perry from Buckeye Broadband, Bill McCreary from the University of Toledo, and Ken Fanger from On Technology Partners.

“This is a great opportunity for Ohioans from rural communities and small business owners to come together to learn about the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape in Ohio,” said Hoops.
