Rep. Daniels Secures $1.75 Million in State Capital Budget for New Portage Lakes Marine Patrol Boathouse

COLUMBUS, Ohio — State Representative Jack Daniels (R-New Franklin) announced today that $1.75 million has been secured through Ohio's Capital Budget Bill to construct a new boathouse at Portage Lakes State Park in Old State Park, providing a modern, permanent home for the marine patrol operations of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

State Reps. Roemer, Daniels Honor OHSAA Powerlifting Champion in House Session

Ohio House Passes Bill Clarifying Driver's Training Law for Military Personnel

COLUMBUS, OH –State Representatives Bernie Willis (R-Springfield) and Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) today announced that House Bill 434 passed through the Ohio House of Representatives. The bill updates adult limited term driver’s license application requirements, strengthening training for limited-term license applicants while easing restrictions for military-affiliated individuals.

House Committee Begins Hearings on Bill to Establish Online Auto Insurance Verification

Willis, Williams Legislation to Curb Violent Crime Passes House

Representatives Jack Daniels and Josh Williams Introduce Bill Strengthening Penalties for Politically Motivated Violence

COLUMBUS— Representatives Jack Daniels (R- New Franklin) and Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Township) today announced legislation aimed at strengthening Ohio’s hate crime statutes by enhancing penalties for politically motivated violence. The introduction of this legislation follows the tragic murder of political commentator Charlie Kirk, and Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman which served as a reminder that attacks targeting individuals based on their political beliefs or affiliations are on a disturbing rise.

Rep. McClain, Willis Introduce H.J.R. 2 to Rein in Federal Power with Convention of States Resolution
