Ohio Controlling Board approves over $150K in renovations for Owens, BG Community Center
TOLEDO, Ohio — Ohio state Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari announced Monday that the State Controlling Board has approved two new fund injections for local campuses.
$102,800 will go to Owens Community College to install door access control hardware. This amount is provided by the Campus Safety Grant Program.
Meanwhile, $47,883 will be provided to the Bowling Green Training and Community Center for renovations.
"During the previous General Assembly, I supported the bills that provided for this local funding coming to Bowling Green," Ghanbari said in a statement. "These measures are going to help provide for further security and assist with renovations. This is a true investment for the Bowling Green community in Wood County and I look forward to seeing the completion of these projects."
The Ohio Controlling Board determined budget changes for the state's Office of Budget and Management.
