Rep. Brewer Continues to Highlight the Reality of Gun Violence in Ohio
COLUMBUS - State Rep. Brewer (D-Cleveland) Wednesday continued his call for legislative action on gun violence in Ohio. Ohioans are continuing to suffer devastating consequences due to gun violence.
"Once again, I am coming to you with somber news that, in Ohio, between the days of June 15th and June 30th, there have been 24-gun deaths and 113 people injured due to gun violence. As a legislature, we have many tools at our disposal to curb gun violence. One of those is House Bill 420 and House Bill 421. Both of these bills address gun violence and can have immediate positive impacts. Until the legislature acts, it is up to us in the community to stop this senseless gun violence. As a community, we must continue to fight back. If you see something, say something. We can make a change. We, as a community, can make a difference. Let's end gun violence together," said Rep. Brewer.
