COLUMBUS- State Rep. Daniel P. Troy (D- Willowick) gave sponsor testimony Tuesday on House Bill (HB) 207, his legislation to update Ohio’s Homestead Tax Exemption program.   

COLUMBUS – Today, State Reps. Daniel Troy (D-Willowick), Jamie Callender (R-Concord),  and the Ohio House approved House Bill 110, otherwise known as the two-year state operating budget for Fiscal Years 2022-2023. The legislation highlights include a new school funding reform plan, tax relief, jobs and economic support, and several other initiatives.

State Representative Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) announced today that he has introduced a House Resolution, HR 35, that will create a temporary House Select Committee on Property Tax Education and Reform.

State Representative Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) has introduced legislation that updates Ohio’s Homestead Tax Exemption program. According to the legislator, the changes to the tax exemption law are long overdue. The changes will provide much needed tax relief to senior citizens 65 years of age or older, as well as qualifying Ohioans who are disabled.
