Representative Troy Announces $175,000 JobsOhio Revitalization Grant for Ericson Manufacturing Expansion in Willoughby

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Daniel Troy (D-Willowick) today announces a $175,000 JobsOhio Revitalization Grant to Ericson Manufacturing in Willoughby, Ohio. The company, which specializes in temporary power and lighting products, will use this funding to support a 20,000 square-foot expansion of their Willoughby operation, creating 36 new jobs and retaining 84 current positions for the community.
“I am pleased that our state’s JobsOhio program has helped facilitate the expansion of this well-respected manufacturing facility in the heart of my Ohio House district. This addition to its manufacturing capacity and the 36 new jobs it will create is most welcome news to the City of Willoughby and our western Lake County economy,” said Rep. Troy.
The JobsOhio Revitalization Program offers grant funding for brownfield site redevelopment, such as environmental remediation and testing, building renovation and demolition, and other site infrastructure preparation. The program is intended to support projects that both revitalize underutilized locations and support job creation and retention in Ohio.
