Rep. Troy announces $92,732 in Ohio Arts Council grants for Lake County

COLUMBUS – State Representative Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) announced $92,732 in grants from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) to support sustainability, arts access, statewide arts service organizations, and individual artists in Lake County.

"As a longtime supporter of the arts, I am pleased to have helped secure this grant funding for Lake County's arts programs. The funding will support numerous programs and organizations throughout Lake County, ensuring our art community continues to thrive," said Rep. Troy.

With the passage of the 2022-2023 budget and the $32.9 million in funding for the OAC,  Rep. Troy helped secure state funds through agency grants to the following Lake County art programs:

$ 43,975 for the Fine Arts Association Willoughby
$ 19,819 for the Rabbit Run Community Arts Association
$ 16,875 for the Lake County Historical Society
$ 9,148 for the Andrews Osborne Academy
$ 2,915 for the City of Painesville
