COLUMBUS – The Ohio Jewish Caucus Monday night hosted its third annual traditional Seder at the Ohio Statehouse surrounded by friends, family, and colleagues to celebrate the Jewish traditions of Passover.

“Passover is a time for Jews around the world to remember the hardships our ancestors experienced as slaves in Egypt and celebrate their liberation. Thousands of years later, freedom is a fundamental right always worth fighting for and which will always endure, even in the darkest of times,” said the Jewish Caucus. “It was an honor to tell the story of the Jewish slaves’ Exodus from Egypt in the beautiful setting of the Ohio Statehouse and share our traditions with families, friends, colleagues and Jewish community leaders from across Ohio.”

The Ohio Jewish Caucus is proudly represented by Reps. Beryl Brown Piccolantonio (D-Gahanna), Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati), Christine Cockley (D-Columbus), Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood), Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Township) and Senator Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson).
