Rep. Lett of Ohio House District 11 Sworn Into 136th General Assembly
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Crystal Lett (D-Hilliard) Monday was sworn into the 136th Ohio General Assembly. Rep. Lett will be beginning her first term in the legislature, serving the people of Dublin and Hilliard at the Ohio Statehouse.
“As a lifelong Ohio resident, it is an honor to represent the people of Ohio’s 11th district in the upcoming General Assembly,” said Rep. Lett.
Rep. Lett is a Hilliard native and graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School. After studying political science at The Ohio State University, Crystal became a case manager at North Central Mental Health (NCMH), where she became passionate about helping children. Her work became even more personal when her eldest son was diagnosed with a complex genetic disorder. While caring for her son, Rep. Lett dedicated her time to fighting for people dealing with the tribulations of mental illness. Since then, Rep. Lett has managed a psychological practice, become an advocate for mental health policy, and started The Salon Lab—a bipartisan organization that serves as an entry point for women interested in politics.
As a legislator, Rep. Lett’s top priorities are making parenthood more equitable, expanding our community’s mental health resources, advocating for our public schools, and preserving the dignity of every Ohioan to be able to live in our beautiful state.
