Rep. Lett Announces Ranking Member Assignment for House Children and Human Services Committee
COLUMBUS — State Rep. Crystal Lett (D-Columbus) last week announced that she has been assigned as ranking member for the House Children and Human Services Committee for the 136th General Assembly.
“It is a true privilege to serve as ranking member on the House Child and Human Services Committee. I am committed to advancing policies that uplift children and families, foster stronger communities, and reflect our shared values of fairness and compassion,” said Rep. Lett.
The House Children and Human Services Committee will be focused on supporting state and federally funded programs to provide a social safety net for Ohioans, particularly relating to protection of children, senior citizens, and families.
Rep. Lett has committed to using her assignment to ranking member to continue to ensure all Ohioans—no matter your race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or economic status—have the freedom to be who they are, the dignity of a safe and inclusive community and the opportunity to thrive.
