Abrams Issues Statement on Supreme Court Decision

COLUMBUS – State Representative Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) has issued the below statement on the U.S. Supreme Court decision for the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

“Today the United States Supreme Court made a historic decision to protect the life of the unborn by overturning the Roe v. Wade decision, returning legislative authority over abortion to the states.

As we transition through this time, it is important that we do our best or promote respectful dialogue and comprehend the differing opinions of our neighbors, friends, and family.

I will continue to review the full, detailed decision while fighting for the American right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, including our most vulnerable – the unborn. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues in Columbus on this important issue.”
