Leader Russo of Ohio House District 7 Sworn Into 136th General Assembly
COLUMBUS – Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) Monday was officially sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 136th General Assembly. She will be serving the people of Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights, The Ohio State University, and portions of Columbus. Leader Russo was also reelected by the House as Minority Leader, as well as, the rest of her leadership team.
“I am extremely grateful to once again serve the great people of Ohio’s 7th House District, and I look forward to working with my colleagues on bipartisan solutions that improve the future of Ohio,” said Leader Russo. “Together, the House of Representatives can get more done for this state than imagined. When we work across the aisle together we can lower the rising costs of property taxes, we can make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and we can make sure our students, families, and first responders are safe and have the resources they need to succeed.”
Leader Russo begins her fourth term in the Ohio House of Representatives and her third General Assembly as the House Minority Leader.
Prior to joining the legislature, Leader Russo spent more than two decades advising government leaders and policymakers on issues related to the healthcare financing and care delivery needs of seniors, vulnerable populations, Veterans, and military families.
