COLUMBUS - House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved the release of more than $114K in funds to provide STEM equipment and renovations at The Ohio State University.

“Students today are searching for universities that can provide them with important workforce experience and extensive real-world opportunities,” said Leader Russo. “With this approved funding, we can provide Ohio State the resources necessary to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders in advanced manufacturing.”

The capital funds released today will be split between equipment for existing STEM programs dedicated to expanding workforce development, and renovations to Campbell Hall. This funding will improve the university by obtaining equipment that can be used by students to receive hands-on experience in the OSU Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence, and renovate the laboratories and resources housed in Campbell Hall.
