Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Cleveland) announced that the State Controlling Board approved $320,821 to support first responders diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder arising from their employment. The Ohio Post-Traumatic Stress Fund was created by House Bill (HB) 308 in the 133rd General Assembly, and it is a long-standing Democratic priority that helps pay lost wages and medical costs to public safety officers resulting from disability caused by PTSD.
