Rep. Sweeney Receives COSE Small Business Advocate of the Year Award

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Westlake) on Friday was awarded the Council of Smaller Enterprises Small Business Advocate of the Year Award for her legislative work to support and grow small business enterprises in Ohio. The Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) is Greater Cleveland’s premier small business membership organization, advocating for small businesses in the region since 1972.

“We are honored to present State Representative Bride Rose Sweeney with our COSE Small Business Advocate of the Year Award in recognition of her tireless work fighting for expanded economic opportunity so that small businesses can thrive in the Buckeye State,” said Marty McGann, Executive Vice President Advocacy and Strategy for the Greater Cleveland Partnership. “We are grateful to have a leader like State Representative Bride Rose Sweeney leading the fight for pro-business, pro-growth policy in the Ohio House of Representatives.”

A strong voice for small business advocacy in government, COSE has supported and advocated for small businesses by working to enact pro-business policy solutions and providing valuable resources to help their members succeed every day.
