Rep. Sweeney announces committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS- State Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Westlake) released the following statement today on her Ohio House of Representatives committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly:

“It is an honor to be named Ranking Member on the House Finance Committee for another General Assembly. Everything comes down to our $70+ billion dollar state budget; whether it’s good schools, safe streets, quality healthcare, or a thriving economy,” said Rep. Sweeney. “I am laser-focused on working towards a bipartisan budget that improves the lives of the citizens of Ohio. We have a real opportunity to put people over politics.”

Rep. Sweeney will serve on the following committees:

· Finance, Ranking Member

· Finance Subcommittee, Infrastructure & American Rescue Plan Act Funding

· Constitutional Resolutions

· Insurance

· Pensions
