State Representative Brian Stewart (R-Ashville) attended the White House State Leadership Conference this week alongside more than 50 Ohio lawmakers and other officials. The conference was organized by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to foster collaboration and communication between federal, state and local governments, while providing a forum to discuss shared priorities, policies, and more.

“My colleagues from the Ohio House and I met with Cabinet secretaries and senior Trump Administration officials in Washington D.C.,” said Rep. Stewart. “We had several productive conversations focusing on how we can work together on policies that strengthen and improve our country.”

Rep. Stewart had the opportunity to discuss Ohio’s priorities with senior officials in the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
