Roemer Secures $1 Million for Barberton City Hall and Justice Center
COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives recently passed Substitute House Bill 2, approving the state’s two-year construction budget for capital projects across Ohio. This Capital Budget will make historic investments in local community projects, announced State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield).
Specifically, the Barberton City Hall and Justice Center will receive $1 million to renovate space that houses the Barberton Municipal Court, Barberton Clerk of Courts, Barberton Police Department, Barberton Law Department, and Barberton Prosecutor.
“I am glad to bring capital funds back to the Barberton community to support this vital project,” said Roemer. “This investment will support all parts of our local government for years to come.”
Substitute House Bill 2 was signed by Ohio Governor DeWine on June 28.
