Roemer Honors Revere High School Math League State Champions at Ohio House
COLUMBUS – State Representative Bill Roemer (R – Richfield) today recognized the Revere High School Math League team on winning the 2021 Ohio Math League on the Ohio House Floor.
The team members recognized included Saumya Sharma, Rohit Dasanoor, Drake Du, Will Krew, Zach Iler, Neal Pannala, Andy Long, Emma Fulton, Lauren Weil, Jackson Campbell, Philip Liu, Sam Bockstoce, Nnemdi Amanambu, Anant Adury, and Akshay Elango.
Joining the students was teacher Joanne Gillette who was also recognized by the University of Chicago as an Educator of the Year. Revere High School Principal Dr. Andy Peltz and Assistant Superintendent Micki Krantz were also in attendance.
The Revere High School Math League team won their third consecutive title at the 2021 Ohio Math League Championship and qualified for the 2021 National Math League.
“It was truly a pleasure and an honor to welcome these students and administrators to Columbus today to honor them for their momentous achievement,” said Roemer. “The members of the Math League team serve as a wonderful example to those throughout the state. These students and faculty are truly an inspiration.”
