Representative Roemer Swears In New City Council Members, Honors Police Officers

NORTON – State Representative Bill Roemer (R – Richfield) swore in four newly-elected Norton City Council members Monday night, including Doug DeHarpart, Jamie Lukens, Ben Bates, and Paul Tousley. DeHarpart, Lukens, and Bates are new to the council, while Tousley will be returning to the council after securing re-election.

“It was such a privilege to visit Norton City Council and usher in the new term,” said Roemer. “I have the utmost confidence that the new council will effectively serve Norton, and put it on the path to success for many years to come. Public service is a great responsibility and a great privilege, and I am certain their commitment to their community will be evident throughout their hard work.”
