Camp Christopher Receives Resolution for 100 Year Milestone
COLUMBUS- State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) presented a resolution to Camp Christopher, an organization operated by Catholic Charities, to celebrate their 100th year of service.
Since 1924, Camp Christopher has been providing campers with countless opportunities for adventure in nature, community, and spirit. They offer a variety of programs and activities for all ages, including persons with disabilities.
“Camp Christopher gives campers an opportunity to meet new people, develop a new love for nature, and develop a strong sense of self,” said Roemer. Congratulations to Camp Christopher on reaching this milestone.”
Camp Christopher's 165-acre facility will serve 2,300 people during its summer programs and 6,000 with its off-season programs.
“On behalf of Camp Christopher and Catholic Charities, we greatly appreciate the time and recognition from Representative Roemer and his team,” said Olivia Mackey, Camp Christopher Director. “It has been a pleasure to provide campers a world of adventure in nature, community, and spirit for the past 100 years. We are thankful for the continued support of our mission, and we look forward to the next 100 years.”
