COLUMBUS – Legislation that will give back to the men and women that help service-connected disabled veterans received bipartisan support during a House vote Wednesday. 

COLUMBUS – Legislation to ensure victims are treated fairly and consistently across our state’s criminal justice system and given the full opportunity to exercise their rights passed the House Floor recently by an overwhelming majority, 84-1. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House showed bipartisan support Wednesday to legislation, sponsored by State Representatives Andrea White (R-Kettering) and Jessica Miranda (D-Forest Park), requiring the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) to create an official recommended job description for school counselors based on current ODE standards.

COLUMBUS – Ohio’s farmers will soon reap substantial savings through lowered borrowing costs thanks to House Bill 440, legislation jointly sponsored by State Representatives Andrea White (R-Kettering) and DJ Swearingen (R-Huron) and signed into law today by Governor Mike DeWine.

COLUMBUS – With more than 1.8 million Americans facing a new cancer diagnosis each year,  State Representatives Andrea White (R-Kettering) and Thomas West (D-Canton) have introduced House Bill 608 to increase access to biomarker testing that will help unlock precision medicine for Ohioans. 

COLUMBUS – State Representatives Adam Holmes (R- Nashport) and Andrea White (R-Kettering) have introduced legislation to create the Ohio Hidden Heroes Scholarship Program initiative.  House Bill 569 authorizes state higher education institutions to provide scholarship opportunities to students who are caregivers of veterans who have a 100% service-connected disability.  The bill is the first of its kind in the nation.
